Rock Climbing
Orebić area (20 min drive)Pelješac's limestone coastline and inland crags offer established sport-climbing routes across a range of grades. The sea-cliff routes near Orebić are particularly spectacular — you climb with the Adriatic directly below and Korčula island across the channel. Routes are bolted and well-maintained, with grades from 4a to 7c covering everything from first-time sport climbers to seasoned leaders. Local guides know the crags intimately and can match routes to your ability. Gear rental is available locally, though serious climbers will want their own shoes.

💡 Insider TipThe sea-cliff routes face west and get afternoon sun — climb them in the morning. The inland crags near Potomje stay shaded longer and are better for hot days. A local guide for your first session is worth it: they know which routes are freshly re-bolted.
