Crosstide
Crosstide Dinner Entry Format.
A curated dinner for a smaller group. A lighter introduction to the format and the people — for those who want to experience the curation before committing to a full gathering.
Not everyone is ready to invest a full weekend in a format they haven't experienced. Crosstide Dinner exists as an intentional entry point — a single evening that demonstrates the quality of curation, the calibre of peers, and the type of conversation that becomes possible when the right people are in the same room.
What a Crosstide Dinner is
An evening of curated cross-industry conversation over an exceptional meal. Not a networking event. Not a panel dinner. A deliberately small group of senior leaders from different industries, brought together by Boris for a single evening of genuine exchange. The curation is the same as a full Crosstide 48 — the format is simply compressed.
Why an entry format exists
Trust takes time. Some leaders want to experience Boris's curation, meet the calibre of participants, and understand the format before committing to a full weekend. Crosstide Dinner serves that purpose honestly — it's a genuine experience in itself, not a teaser that withholds the real value.
The experience
An evening at Adriatic Retreat or a curated venue. Exceptional food and wine from the Pelješac Peninsula. Conversation that goes deeper than a standard dinner because the people in the room were chosen for complementarity, not convenience. Boris facilitates lightly — enough structure to ensure depth, enough freedom to let conversation flow naturally.
From Dinner to 48
Many Crosstide Dinner attendees return for a full Crosstide 48 weekend. The dinner gives them enough context to know the format works for them. There's no pressure — the dinner is a complete experience in itself.
Crosstide Dinner is for leaders who:
- —Are curious about curated cross-industry peer exchange
- —Want to experience Boris's curation before a full weekend commitment
- —Hold VP/Director+ roles and value depth of conversation
- —Prefer to test a format before investing a full weekend
- —Are in the region and can attend an evening event

Every gathering is built personally by Boris.
"I built two companies, scaled across borders, then spent years inside EMEA headquarters advising the people who run them. That's why I can build this room: I've sat on both sides of the table."
Boris builds every gathering personally, not through an algorithm, not through a team. He reviews every application, builds the room as a whole, and is present for all four days.
Boris built two companies from scratch, scaling to 35 FTE across four offices before pivoting to enterprise advisory. Through his SO DIGITAL and Otto Ziegler Consulting practice, he worked with Directors, VPs, and SVPs at EMEA headquarters: Nike across 14 markets, Uber across 46, WarnerBrosDiscovery / HBO Max across 17, Amazon Ring across 10, and global HQs like TomTom, Victorinox, and Jacobs Douwe Egberts, spanning brand, marketing, creative, e-commerce, supply chain, operations, and procurement. Parallel to this he attended dozens of cross-industry conferences both across Europe, but also across the globe from Hong Kong to Las Vegas. He saw the downsides of mass gatherings for genuine professional connection. It's this combination, founder experience and cross-industry HQ exposure, that shapes how he builds every gathering: he knows which problems are universal, which people can help solve them, and how to build a room where that exchange actually happens.
