Industry Masterminds
Consumer Technology Mastermind.
For senior leaders in hardware, software, and platform businesses with direct consumer relationships — navigating growth vs profitability, product-market fit at scale, and increasingly complex regulatory environments.
Consumer technology moves fast, but the strategic decisions at the top move slowly and carry enormous consequence. The tension between growth and profitability, the complexity of multi-market regulation, the challenge of maintaining product excellence while scaling organisational complexity — these are problems that benefit from peers who've navigated them in different contexts.
The isolation of consumer tech leadership
At the senior level in consumer tech, your peers are often your competitors. The conferences designed for your industry are funded by the vendors trying to sell to you. And the internal teams you lead are optimised for execution, not for challenging your strategic assumptions. This room is built to fill that gap.
What gets discussed
Growth vs profitability trade-offs when the market has shifted from "grow at all costs" to "prove the unit economics." Regulatory strategy across multiple jurisdictions. Platform strategy when you're simultaneously a platform and a product. Organisational design for companies that need to ship fast and think long. The real challenges of AI integration — beyond the hype cycle.
Who belongs in this room
Directors, VPs, and C-suite leaders in consumer-facing technology companies — hardware, software, platforms, apps, IoT. People who understand that consumer tech leadership means balancing product vision with commercial reality at increasing scale.
The curation principle
Different product categories, different business models, different market stages — but the same level of strategic decision-making. A VP at a scale-up and a GM at a multinational tech company face structurally similar challenges through different organisational lenses. That's where the exchange becomes valuable.
This Mastermind is for leaders who:
- —Hold senior roles (Director+) in consumer technology companies
- —Navigate the tension between product vision and commercial pressure
- —Want peer exchange with leaders who understand tech-specific complexity
- —Are ready to discuss real strategic challenges, not polished success stories
- —Value depth of relationship over breadth of network

Every gathering is built personally by Boris.
"I built two companies, scaled across borders, then spent years inside EMEA headquarters advising the people who run them. That's why I can build this room: I've sat on both sides of the table."
Boris builds every gathering personally, not through an algorithm, not through a team. He reviews every application, builds the room as a whole, and is present for all four days.
Boris built two companies from scratch, scaling to 35 FTE across four offices before pivoting to enterprise advisory. Through his SO DIGITAL and Otto Ziegler Consulting practice, he worked with Directors, VPs, and SVPs at EMEA headquarters: Nike across 14 markets, Uber across 46, WarnerBrosDiscovery / HBO Max across 17, Amazon Ring across 10, and global HQs like TomTom, Victorinox, and Jacobs Douwe Egberts, spanning brand, marketing, creative, e-commerce, supply chain, operations, and procurement. Parallel to this he attended dozens of cross-industry conferences both across Europe, but also across the globe from Hong Kong to Las Vegas. He saw the downsides of mass gatherings for genuine professional connection. It's this combination, founder experience and cross-industry HQ exposure, that shapes how he builds every gathering: he knows which problems are universal, which people can help solve them, and how to build a room where that exchange actually happens.
