Forest Trail Stewardship
From the village + Pelješac interiorPelješac's interior forests are crisscrossed with ancient paths that connected villages for centuries. Some have fallen into disuse, overgrown with Mediterranean scrub. Our forest stewardship programme combines hiking with trail maintenance — clearing fallen branches, removing litter from woodland areas, and helping maintain paths that locals and hikers rely on. You'll work under the shade of Aleppo pines and holm oaks, with the scent of wild rosemary and sage. It's quieter work than the beach cleanups — meditative, even — and gives teams a shared sense of accomplishment that outlasts the retreat.

💡 Insider TipThe forest paths near Potomje wind through vineyards before entering pine woodland — the transition is beautiful. In autumn, you might spot wild asparagus or mushrooms. We always end with a cold drink at a local konoba.
