    Industry Masterminds

    FMCG & Consumer Goods Mastermind.

For leaders navigating retailer relationships, brand building in a promotional economy, and the pace of portfolio decision-making at scale.

FMCG operates at a pace and scale that outsiders rarely understand. The cadence of decisions, the constant negotiation between brand investment and trade promotion, the pressure of quarterly volume targets against long-term brand health. This room is built for people who live that tension every day.

    The FMCG leadership paradox

You operate in organisations built for execution speed, surrounded by people optimised for the same thing. The challenge isn't operational — it's strategic isolation. The higher you go, the fewer peers understand both the commercial pressure and the brand stewardship responsibility. This Mastermind exists to create that peer context.

    What gets discussed

Retailer power dynamics and how to maintain brand leverage. Portfolio rationalisation decisions nobody talks about publicly. The real economics of sustainability commitments. Private label competition as structural, not cyclical. How to build brands when media fragmentation has made the old playbook obsolete. Pricing strategy when consumers have perfect price transparency.

    Who belongs in this room

Directors, VPs, and C-suite leaders with P&L or strategic responsibility in fast-moving consumer goods, food & beverage, household, or personal care. People who understand that the speed of FMCG is both its advantage and its blind spot.

    The curation principle

Same sector density. Different companies, different categories, different market positions. A room where a VP at a multinational CPG company and a GM at a challenger brand can exchange perspectives that neither could access through their own networks.

This Mastermind is for leaders who:

    • —Hold senior roles (Director+) in FMCG, food & beverage, or consumer goods
    • —Navigate the tension between brand investment and commercial pressure
    • —Want honest peer exchange beyond industry conferences
    • —Are ready to share real challenges with peers who understand the FMCG operating rhythm
    • —Value depth of conversation over breadth of networking

Every gathering is built personally by Boris.

"I built two companies, scaled across borders, then spent years inside EMEA headquarters advising the people who run them. That's why I can build this room: I've sat on both sides of the table."

Boris builds every gathering personally, not through an algorithm, not through a team. He reviews every application, builds the room as a whole, and is present for all four days.

Boris built two companies from scratch, scaling to 35 FTE across four offices before pivoting to enterprise advisory. Through his SO DIGITAL and Otto Ziegler Consulting practice, he worked with Directors, VPs, and SVPs at EMEA headquarters: Nike across 14 markets, Uber across 46, WarnerBrosDiscovery / HBO Max across 17, Amazon Ring across 10, and global HQs like TomTom, Victorinox, and Jacobs Douwe Egberts, spanning brand, marketing, creative, e-commerce, supply chain, operations, and procurement. Parallel to this he attended dozens of cross-industry conferences both across Europe, but also across the globe from Hong Kong to Las Vegas. He saw the downsides of mass gatherings for genuine professional connection. It's this combination, founder experience and cross-industry HQ exposure, that shapes how he builds every gathering: he knows which problems are universal, which people can help solve them, and how to build a room where that exchange actually happens.
